Thanksgiving Dinner Leftovers

As you are reading this, I’m probably Black Friday shopping with my mom and sisters. Yes, we are crazy like that. We can’t help it, Lol.

Oh, Thanksgiving leftovers. I love them and I hate them. There is really only so much leftover turkey I can take. I like it maybe the next day and then I’m done. My husband likes turkey sandwiches the next few days, maybe and then he’s done. I hate to waste food, so I want to give you some different ideas of what you can do with your leftover turkey and ham.

Applying Mindfulness to the Way You Eat

Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I love Thanksgiving. All of my family from both sides come to our house and we cook and eat. It’s usually the only time of the year when family from both sides come all together. In the past, I eat WAY too much, especially all the desserts, and then a few days later I’m sick. It helps to start by setting some goals for yourself that are realistic and give you something to work toward. You will feel more accomplished when you reach the goals, which motivates you to continue with your weight loss journey.

Low Carb Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Low carb and Thanksgiving. Is there such a thing? There is. I’m not sure any of these will be making it to my Thanksgiving table this year, but they are great options. We don’t normally do soup on Thanksgiving and my mom makes the dressing. I’m not sure I could convince her to leave out the cornbread or the bread. I usually make the potatoes though, and everyone loves the things that I come up with that involve cauliflower, so I might try that. If any of my family is reading this, ignore it, Lol. You will never know. Anyway, here are a few low carb options for your Thanksgiving table.
