Good afternoon! It’s hot again today here in Texas. I spent the day at the lake with my family for Father’s Day on Sunday. I meant to write this post yesterday, but I was out swim suit shopping. How torturous! I did manage to find 2 cute tops and 1 pair of bottoms, but I think I tried on every swimsuit in Dillards.
So, you guys know that I made the Good Dee’s Blondies found in the June Keto Krate.
I made these according to the package directions, only I added some Lily’s Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Chips into the mix.
I really need to work on my photography skills. Anyway, I baked according to package directions except I added the chocolate chips into the batter. These were really so good. They were sweet enough without adding the chocolate, so I think I would leave them the way they are next time or maybe mix in nuts or something that isn’t so sweet. This is how they looked after they were baked.
As usual, I didn’t tell anyone they were low carb. Everyone that had one loved them. They are moist, sweet, and overall delicious. No one would know that they are low carb. The net carb count is 1 carb per blondie but since I added in the dark chocolate chips, they are 2 net carbs per brownie. I liked these so much that I got on the Good Dee’s website at www.GoodDees.com and ordered the brownie mix and the chocolate chip cookie mix to try. We have a family lake vacation coming up and I want to be as prepared as possible.
